Hari ini ulang tahun ke 3 Dorks, gw akan bercerita sedikit..

1. Jadi awalnya PWG gak ada fans2an, yg penting manggung rame, selesai manggung banyak temen baru
2. Suatu hari ada radio yg minta kita bikin theme song tentang mau lulus sekolah
3. Goonies, adalah salah satu film favorit gw masa kecil, dan disitu slogan mereka "Goonies Never Say Die!"
4. Gw mau ngangkat tema orang culun yg berhasil melewati kejamnya high school, jd gw ambil term "Dork" dibanding "Geek"
5. Dan digabung dari semangat Goonies tadi, akhirnya digabung jadi "Dorks Never Say Die"
6. Dl ada temen2 yg sering dtg ke gigs kita, mrk dr sekolah internasional di jakarta selatan dan sering komunikasi di internet
7. Mrk ngasih ide utk namain "perkumpulan teman" itu biar jd identitas, dan lagu "Dorks Never Say Die" plg ngewakilin semangatnya
8.Krn niat mereka adlh utk bersenang-senang, mereka nambahin kata "party" untuk ngelengkapin identitas "dork" nya.. jadi deh "party dork"
9. Akhirnya dipublish dan dijadiin umum, "party dork" bkn lg punya kumpulan teman di sekolah itu tp jd istilah bersama
10. Kita bikin kumpul2 di Gazelle hampir rutin, awalnya puluhan, jadi ratusan, sampe akhirnya RT gak ngijinin kumpul2 lg disitu
11. Gak dikasih ijin krn over capacity dan penuh bgt jalanan dan jadi mengganggu warga krn Gazelle tmptnya di area perumahan
12. Seiring pendewasaan, kita mikir istilah "party" konotasinya lebih ke negatif, apalagi di telinga orang tua :p
13. Jadi "party"nya diliangin, jadi "dorks" aja
14. "dorks" itu melambangkan semangat. dgn mengakui keculunan tp tetep pede dan semangat dapetin yg kita senengin
15. Ada yg suka melesetin "dorks" jadi "dogs" gpp, ShaggyDog salah satu band idola gw, dan fans mereka namanya Doggies :))
16. Dork secara harfiah bhs inggris artinya "whale penis" gpp, tau ga penis ikan paus gede bgt? cowo bukannya bangga punya penis besar? ;p
17. Secara istilah, "dork" artinya culun dan punya minat / kesenangan akan satu hal tertentu yg bikin dia beda sm org lain
18. Dorks gak harus keliatan dari luar kok, yg penting km tau didalem ada semangat yg besar, tau apa yg bikin km senang dan pede
19. Contohnya gini: dl waktu kecil gw suka beli chiki dan cara makannya diremes sampe jadi bubuk trus dimakan pake sendok, aneh kan? tp gw seneng
20. Kl makan taro, 1 gw potek jd bagian kecil2, dan ambil 1 lagi utk ditaroh diatasnya jd ky piringnya. aneh? tp gw seneng.
21. Bagi bbrp orang, jauh2 dateng utk ntn band kesukaannya, smp dedikasinya menyita waktu byk bgt, keliatan aneh, tp itu yg bikin seneng kan?
22. Pengertian aneh itu bs dicontohin byk bgt, tp selama itu menyenangkan bgt buat lo dan lo ga takut ekspresiinnya, that's a dork thing to do
23. Tp jangan terlalu fanatik ya, we're still humans :)) jgn tutup kuping utk musik lain, krn byk bgt yg keren!
24. Jangan musuhan jg sama yg beda dgn kalian, kalian "dork" dengan cara kalian masing-masing.

Konsep bahagia tiap orang itu berbeda, ada yang baru merasakan bahagia kalau ada di bawah sorotan, dipuja puja, dielukan, ada yang bahagia saat punya uang banyak, ada yang bahagia setelah barang yang mau dibeli akhirnya kebeli juga.. Kebahagian saya simpel, ketika bisa membuat orang disekitar saya senyum.. Kadang harus ngalah, harus mundur beberapa langkah supaya saat berada dibawah sorotan, bayangan yang tercipta tidak terlalu besar dan nutupin yang dibelakang.. Satu hal yang paling saya ingat adalah kalimat "bahagia itu mensyukuri nikmat dan menikmati syukur". Saya punya teman penggerutu, sedih lihatnya, sepertinya semua yang dia dapat tidak bisa membuat dia puas, dia terus dan terus dan terus menggerutu sampai lupa apa saja yang sudah dia dapat dan dia dapat dari mana, sedih tapi senang, karena disitu saya selalu diingatkan untuk bahagia, untuk lebih berhati besar dan ingat semua ini dapet darimana.. Dan tidak sedetikpun saya ragu untuk menaruh kebahagiaan itu kembali ketempat yang membuat saya bahagia.. Ingat, semua akan kembali ke tanah. Ingat, setinggi apa kamu meloncat, gravitasi akan selalu menang. Kebahagiaan itu bukan saat ada diatas langit, tapi ditanah dimana kamu berasal. Pergilah mencari kebahagiaan dan bawa kebahagiaan itu pulang. Orang yang bersyukur adalah orang yang selalu ingat jalan pulang. Always remember where you came from. And always remember that happiness is like a bag of weed, you have to share it with your friends.

Kebahagiaan tidak ada tanggal kadaluarsanya, tapi, tanggal produksinya harus ditetapkan sendiri, lalu distribusikanlah.

Tadi siang gw bilang ke omo gw punya lagu baru, gw bilang "omo gw punya lagu baru" (pengulangan) terus gw mainin lagunya pake gitar, dia tanya "liriknya belum?" terus gw bilang belum, abis itu dia bilang sesuatu yang akhirnya bikin gw mikir.. "lagi seneng sih ya lo?"
Sebenernya menjawab pertanyaan dinda juga semalem sebelumnya, dia nanya "aku nyekat kreativitas km ya?" karena belum ada satupun lagu gw tulis sejak gw bareng dinda.. Gw gak anggep ini jadi masalah sebelumnya, karena gw nikmati semua nada, semua cerita, dan semua irama yg tercipta setiap gw bareng dia, gak ada keluh kesah yg membuat gw gatel utk berbagi ke orang lain.. Gak ada masalah, dan gak ada sindiran yg mau gw tujuin ke dinda kaya sindiran yg gw sembunyiin di semua lagu gw yg gw tuju ke orang yg pengen gw perdengarkan lagu itu..
Tapi masa iya gw gak bisa nulis lagu dalam keadaan bahagia? Banyak hal dan banyak ide yg tercetus saat gw bahagia, tapi bukan lagu.. Gw bisa bikin nada, irama, tapi bukan lirik.. Kayanya perlu latian nulis lagi untuk bisa mengeluarkan kebahagiaan gw, karena biasanya lirik lagu yg gw tulis senjata taktis yang gw bikin untuk mendapatkan sesuatu yang susah gw dapatkan..

Oke gw coba bikin lagu dalam keadaan bahagia, kasih gw waktu seminggu ya tweeps. Heee? Lo kira twitter?

Beberapa waktu yang lalu.. tepatnya beberapa waktu yang lalu dimana gw lupa tepatnya kapan, gw sempet mikir kl alien yang digambarkan selama ini sebenernya bukan berasal dari luar angkasa.. bukan dari planet lain, bukan dari kehidupan lain, tapi ternyata evolusi tahap selanjutnya dari manusia.. ya ya yaaa pasti ada yang mikir "ih jelek amat evolusinya jadi jelek gitu kepalanya gede badannya kecil" tapi coba dipikir-pikir deh, semakin besar otaknya, semakin bisa bikin barang-barang yang membuat semua jadi lebih mudah (kaya gimana nenek moyang kita bikin yang namanya roda, yg terus jadi mobil, sehingga orang udah ga perlu postur yang besar karena semua lebih praktis sekarang), jadi CC otak lebih besar, dan karena butuh tingkat ketelitian yang lebih (karena penemuan-penemuan yang makin mikro dan canggih) matanya juga beradaptasi jadi lebih besar.. mungkin juga komunikasi verbal semakin jarang, karena semua bisa pake teknologi, dan dikembangkan telepati, jadi mulut bentuknya juga mengecil.. semua ada alatnya.. semua ada yang lebih praktis.. jadi postur tubuh gak perlu gede-gede.

Nah! dengan pemikiran diatas, tinggal ada 1 poin lagi yang penting.. bahwa UFO itu bukan pesawat terbang yang digunakan untuk berpergian antar galaksi.. tapi mesin waktu yang dibuat para evolusi-evolusi ratusan atau ribuan tahun mendatang yang penasaran bentuk nenek moyangnya seperti apa..

Udah lama banget gak nulis disini, sampe lupa posisi huruf di keyboard.. Bentar bentar.. A disini.. L disana.. M... H.... okok! inget! Pernah ngerasain kaya waktu berhenti disaat lo ketemu orang yang bareng lo sekarang?
Seinget gw waktu itu bukan waktu yang berhenti, kira-kira 4 tahun lalu waktu itu bukan waktu
Yang berhenti, tapi justru pikiran gw terbagi 2.. Antara masa kini mikirin "aduh gak siap banget ketemu dia disini" dan masa lalu, balik ke beberapa saat sebelum berangkat ke tempat itu.. Waktu itu pikiran gw lgsg pindah ke depan lemari baju dan menyesali pilihan baju yang akhirnya dipakai di sana. "kenapa gw gak pake celana yang itu ya, kelihatannya bakal lebih bagus.." "coba gw pake baju merah, dia pas lg baju merah juga" atau "wah harusnya td datengnya gak sama bunga, kan jd bs ngobrol2 berdua". Jadi... "waktu berhenti saat ketemu kamu" versi gw adalah, otak dan jantung gw ngebut lebih cepet daripada kecepatan waktu.. Jd semua berasa lebih lambat.

so a close friend of mine who happens to have a gift to read aura, told me things about me which pretty much suprised me for its accuracy.

my aura says i'm arrogant, i'm sensitive but logical at the same time.
i pick people based on intellectual level or same interests. yes, i am indeed picky.
i hate being looked down on. never underestimate my capability, i can assure you, i am--capable.
i don't trust people easily.
i am emotional.. but then i look at it philosophically.. i dig my emotional sense.
i am a child at heart but i don't like being treated like a kid.
i am moody.. but my mood swings keep me thinking.
i'm really not that insecure.. i can be reeeaaaal tough when the going gets tough.

come to think of it, there's always upside and downside to everything.

oh and by the way the color of my aura is indigo.

How I Met Your Mother.

Haha that's a good line to start telling my children a story. Would make a hillarious tv series also. So anyway, since I can't seem to shut my eyes to dream, I might as well look back 5-6 years ago. What happened back then?

Back then I was still doing guitar sessions for Sherina. One day we had this job, we were playing for Gadsam's event in La Piazza and that was the first time I got introduced with this girl whom I will be spending most of my time with, 5 years ahead. She was the MC of the event, a friend of mine introduced her to me and then we spent a quick coffee break before the show. It was just a brief conversation, I totally forgot what we were talking about. I've seen her before. I often seen her on gigs which I played with my former band The Side Project. I remember finding her MySpace page and noticed that she was dating a friend of mine who happens to be a skateboarder. Words on the streets was they were both crazy in love (in a monkeylove kind of way) which is cute. She put a picture of a skateboard for her profile picture on MySpace. So yeah. 18th of May 2007. That was the exact date when we got officially introduced and had a proper conversation.

Haven't seen her again until a year or two. We met again in another Gadsam event, my former crush (we didnt make it official) asked me to go with her for Queen Bee's movie premiere which was held on FX. It was kinda awkward because i used to be closed with 5 or 6 girls in that room. Then I met her again at the back near the pudding and cake stall, i remember she asked "yang mana lagi nih?" and I said "ngumpul semua nih disini" and then she moved up front as I went outside and bailed. 5th of June 2009.

I never paid serious attention, knowing that she and I will never possibly be, in logic sense kind of way. She's the kind of girl I never think for a second will be spending time with me more than 10 minutes without throwing ridiculous excuses to go some place else, and likewise, I know she was thinking the same. I never tried to make conversations worthwhile.

Our third encounter was on 14th of August 2009. SCTV Awards. I went there to meet a friend of mine Olivia J. I stumbled upon a friend of mine, Derby, he was dating her back then. Another short non-impressing conversation adjourn.

The only existance of her around that state of time was her name always pops in Derby's bbm status, we never met nor talked until the next 2 years.

Beer Garden Kemang, 14th of April 2011.
I was still in no shape to like, let alone love, (recent girlfriend ditched me cause she was leaving to London) my friend Dimas Brodjo and I were chilling drinkin pints of malts then I thought i saw her, but I wasn't sure it was her, so after we left the scene I tweeted saying that i think saw her in BGK, then she said it's impossible cause she's still working on cam that time. We replied each other's tweets until eventually I asked for her pin and she gave me hers through DM.

about whatnots, ideas, theories, random stuff. We just can't stop talking. She laughed at my jokes. She listened to my stories whether it was interesting or not. Likewise.

One day I decided to storm the place where she works. Which by coincidence located near my parents' house in Cinere. And on that Cinta Fitri's set, was the first time I've ever seen her again from years. And for the first time I heard her quirky dorky laugh right in front of my eyes and ears. Kinda reminded me of how Dolphins make their sound. hehe.

We bbmed like we never ran out of topics to talk about, occasionally talked on the phone, I went to her set often also, spending time watching DVDs in my car while waiting for her scenes to be taken. Until I realized it was just too fast and I should back off a bit because I didn't want to lose her. I enjoy the company. I enjoy her existance. So with my best friend's advice I planned on talking to her about how I wanted to take things slow, so i drove her home all the way from Cinere to Kramat. We talked all the way. Just in time I wanted to spit the words out of my mouth she said "promise me one thing", I said "what?" she said "i'm asking you not to like me, not to have a crush on me" in short, she's asking me to back off, she said she doesn't want me to fall alone so she gives me parachute. I said, "no. you can't make me promise such things. My feeling is my business, whether you like it or not I will stay true to every feeling my heart tells me to feel. I'm not saying that I do like you, but in time, if I ever fall in love with you, I will not hold back any of that feeling, I won't say the opposite just to be close with you like most of guys would say 'of course, I just wanna be friends with you' after a girl rejects, I don't care about how your feelings towards me, I wont ask you to love me back, but if in time I do love you, then let the feeling be real and let me say to you what I feel". After that long night, we still spend time together like Jack and Sally, like Bonnie And Clyde, like Patrick and Spongebob. And of course I stayed true, just like I said I would.

And just like I said I would, I fell for her. Reaaallll deep. I fell in love real good. Like there was nothing that i wanted more than I want to spend my time with her.

Time after time, I began to tear down her walls, one brick at a time. She lets me in. Until eventually she felt the same.

Now, 5 years after the quick coffee break, nothing ever really excites me more than all the time well spent with you. With the ring on your finger I humbly ask you to let me be the first and last person who will stand beside you through anything. To everything. I love you Dinda Kanyadewi.

Moon lamp, my girlfriend's pad, and my bestfriend's undies on the wall. Let me tell you a story about the pad. So one day a friend of mine gave me dodol, i thought it was an ordinary dodol, turns out it was a magic mushroom dodol. So there i was on a shroom trip and i called my girlfriend all giggly, and then i put a plush inside my shirt so my tummy looked like i'm pregnant, and then i took picture of it and sent it to my girlfriend and i said "i have good news for you" and she said "what?" i said "look at the picture i'm sending you" then she was like "huh?" and i said "AKU HAMIL" haha.. it was hillarious. So the next day she wrote that on her pad and put it right there on my wall.

Trainspotting is one of my favorite movies of all time. Got that Semar Wayang from my girlfriend, she bought that from Ancol. That's where i hang my bags. I don't really fancy the look of my door. Looks pretty damn old!

One of my favorite things on my room is this parking mirror.

7. akhirnya gw ngabisin hari2 gw sm sahabat gw, kebetulan rumahnya deket, dan dia cewe (jadi betah main lama2)
8. si sahabat gw yg half-australian ini yg akhirnya bikin gw semangat lg, dan akhirnya ngenalin gw ke @sherinamunaf
9. gw sempet jd session player @sherinamunaf yg secara gak langsung ngasih gw pelajaran banyak ttg industri
gw jg appear di videoklip pertama dia (versi udah gede) bareng Abdee Slank di single 'sendiri'
10. suatu hari, akhirnya gw ngerekam lagu distudio, lagu itu buat sahabat gw, dan judulnya Here Up On The Attic
11. Here Up On The Attic adalah lagu pertama yg gw bikin format band setelah keluar dr TSP
12. gw rekam bass, gitar, synth, drum, dan vokal sendiri di lagu Here Up On The Attic
13. gw inget sampe studio operatornya nanya "yg lain mana?" "engga, gw sendiri" "knp lo? ga punya temen? hahaha" "......"
14. setelah lagu itu gw kasih sahabat gw, akhirnya gw pacaran sama sahabat gw itu hehe
penggalan "just a hug and the company of being there is already enough for me" itu diambil dari diary dia waktu itu

Mengingat peristiwa yang terjadi di Surabaya (yang tertulis di www.peeweegaskinsjkt.com/blog), gw pribadi gak akan tinggal diam, setelah konsultasi sama temen gw yang kebetulan pengacara, dia menganjurkan gw untuk menuntut pelaku fitnah.

Cuma untuk bayangan, buat kalian disana yang masih menyebarkan berita2 bohong dan menghasut sebuah kelompok, ini udah gak bisa dianggap sebagai "kegiatan iseng mengisi waktu luang", karena pelaku (sedikit bocoran, gampang sekali mencari pelaku, bisa dari IP Address komputer yang dipakai untuk menyebarkan berita, entah itu dari facebook, twitter, kaskus, atau sosial media lainnya). Coba renungkan sejenak bila keisengan kalian itu berbuah terjerat pasal berlapis, yaitu KUHP pasal 310 (pencemaran lewat tulisan dan gambar), 311 (pencemaran nama baik), 355 (perbuatan tidak menyenangkan). Bisa dipastikan orang yang terjerat pasal ini akan melihat masa depan dengan sangat gelap.

Kami dari PWG tidak menuntut oknum yang menganiaya road manager kami karena mereka juga korban dari informasi yang tidak benar, jadi kami sekarang sedang mencari si penghasut. Kami sudah dapat beberapa nama dan beberapa informasi dan memberikan ultimatum bila kurang dari 7x24 jam tidak ada permohonan maaf tertulis, siap2 rumahnya kedatangan tamu.

meski bisa dibilang resiko dalam menjalankan tugas, tetap saja sebuah musibah
semua anak PWG berikut manager dan crewnya bunda anggap sebagai anak bunda
betapa galau dan risaunya hati bunda setiap PWG akan mengadakan show atau kegiatan
baik di dalam kota maupun di luar kota

betapa kejinya menebarkan issu atau rumor yang sama sekali tidak benar hanya untuk menjatuhkan
suatu grup musik yang tidak pernah mengobarkan permusuhan kepada grup musik lain
apalagi bermusuhan atau merusak kelompok yang sama sekali tidak ada hubungannya dengan musik
sebagai seorang ibu yang sejak kecil mensuport dan mendampingi anak bermain musik
tahu persis betapa besar perjuangan dochi untuk menjadi seperti sekarang
sungguh besar pengorbanannya untuk itu semua
sejak kecil dia sudah dididik untuk menghargai orang lain
dalam keluarga besar pun dia dikenal sebagai anak yang pendiam tp penuh perhatian dan celetukannya humoris
meski agak sedikit 'jail'
kalaupun sekarang dia menjadi banyak bicara itu suatu perkembangan yang luar biasa
kebiasaan menuliskan apa aja yang dilakukannya setiap saat semacam jurnal tetap dilakukan sampai kini
kebiasaan tersebut terinspirasi sejak membaca jurnal almarhumah eyang putrinya

betapa sedih dan nggak terima kalau dia dibilang sombong
hanya karena tidak bisa membalas pesan sms, fb ataupun twitternya
jangan salah, fb dia jarang sekali dibuka kec yg satu untuk komunikasi dengan ibu dan saudaranya
bahkan dalam fb banyak sekali yang mengatas namakan dia, sampai ibunyapun bingung mana yang asli dan mana yang bukan, tapi bunda tak pernah menyalahkan 'aspal' tersebut sejauh tidak merugikan..
bunda anggap itu sebagai kegiatan fansnya yang sangat fanatik..tapi jangan pada nusuk dari belakang ya..
percaya deh bukan karena sombong tidak bisa membalas satu per satu yang menyapanya di dunia maya,
coba hitung aja kalau yg follow sdh 5000an sementara untuk membalas 1 aja butuh waktu skitar 30 detik
kalau semua hrs dibalas dibutuhkan 5000x30= 150.000 detik = 41,6 jam padahal sehari hanya ada 24 jam
sementara kegiatan dia tidak hanya sekedar bertwiit ria, hrs ada waktu untuk kegiatan lain, seperti latihan, menyiapkan suatu konsep kegiatan, istirahat, makan dan lain lain

kembali ke masalah terlukanya Reegi sang road manager PWG waktu di Surabaya
yang melalukan apa tidak punya hati nurani..dengan melakukan hal2 yang brutal
apa sedemikian parahkah kehidupan mereka sehingga gampang sekali dipengaruhi dan terbujuk untuk berbuat keonaran
sebagai seorang ibu, bunda menangis buat Reegi, apalagi ibu kandung dan keluarga dan teman2 dekatnya.....
sakit hati kami jauh lebih sakit fisik yang diderita Reegi..
Reegi cepet sembuh ya..tetap tabah dan semangat dan jangan sedikitpun berpikir untuk membalas kebrutalan dengan kebrutalan..inget lagu kalian: 'aku bukan musuhmu'

buat anak2 dorks dimanapun berada bunda pesan jaga bicara kalian ya

about my air conditioner.. i find it a bit weird.. so i just checked out the outdoor unit, it ought to be blowing warm air right? well.. it's in fact cold and at the other hand the ac in my room is blowing warm air. i dont know whatsup with that. so i thought, if i set the temperature to warm, let's say.. 23 degrees, will it be cool instead? let's just wait and see.

it's been awhile, eh?

how are things going on your end? mine's pretty well i guess.. well i cant say jolly good, just average "well" is kinda well put. fasting month is over but i'm still adjusting my feeding time.

i miss hitting the stage, this new album is taking so long to be released.. still waiting for the legal contracts with folks who put their good hands on some of our songs. Heru from Shaggydog/Dubyouth sung one song and wrote it too, Ucay from Rocket Rockers contributed and wrote one song also, and at the moment we're waiting the contracts to be done, that's what taking it so long, but i guess it will be done early this month. hopefully. about the new release, it's gonna be a whole new experience, some say it's more mature, hell catchy, bloody sing-a-long-able, and easier to digest. it's gonna get full range. but hey, i dont want you to expect too much because i hate to dissapoint y'all, all i'm saying is.. fuck yeah the new album will be solid awesome. :)

But then soon magazine articles are zooming the word up to your eyeballs, your college professor is dropping it in lectures, and you see it hanging strangely coagulate in the middle of a random blog.

Midnight is long gone.

Maybe you’re crowded around a kitchen table searching for something foody to eat, squirreled into sleeping bags on a cold floor, or drinking cold coffee and leaning over laptops before tomorrow’s big deadline.

Either way, it’s time to face facts: you’re up way too late.

Your eyes burn a bit, your head spaces out, random arms or legs starts throbbing, and maybe your scalp gets really, really, really, really itchy. Point is, you’ve ignored your body’s Go to Sleep signals for hours so now you’re hunched over a walking stick squinting deep into the foggy darkness of four, five, six in the morning.

The good news is your brain has developed just the system to charge you up with extra juice and help you power through. Yes, we’re talking about massively lowered Standards of Hilarity which help make everything funny. Someone steps on Styrofoam Jupiter, kicks a can of Coke onto the pizza, or accidentally deletes the Powerpoint slides, and suddenly everyone looks up at each other with tired raccoon eyes and… just starts cracking up.

Late night laughing is a beautiful moment because we’re letting ourselves stand up and step back from whatever’s keeping us up. Gone are the stresses of the group project, hanging dread of the deadline, and tensions tying us together. Now the differences dissolve and we realize we’re all part of the same Bleary Eyed Giggling clan — telling bad jokes, laughing till it hurts, and smiling till sunrise.
